Position SummaryThe Assistant General Manager supports all aspects of resort operations including guest and employee satisfaction, reputation management, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.

  • Assists the general manager with the operational and financial management of the property.  Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
  • Verifies that all brand standards are being maintained in each area of the property.
  • Verifies that all team members meet or exceed all brand requirements.
  • Acts on guest and resident requests seeking resolution.
  • Delivers and leads strong customer service and operational practices.  Enforces resort rules and standards.
  • Assists RV Resort Manager with administrative duties and tasks.
  • Works shifts and supports various departments as needed.
  • Assists with the employee life cycle of recruiting, hiring, training, coach, counseling, and mentoring.  Supervises employees in the assigned department(s).
  • Assists with delivering profitable results and operating within budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations.  Maintains current licenses and permits as prescribed by local, state and federal agencies.
  • Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the Resort.
  • Meets goals for projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction. 
  • Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
  • Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Must have flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
