About the Role 

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and the safe application of Clean Chemistry’s advanced water treatment systems in the Permian Basin and proximate oil fields. Key activities include, but are not limited to: hiring, training and supervising field operators to ensure that Clean Chemistry maintains an expected level of professional operations and service; overseeing and participating in equipment repair and maintenance; supporting client relationship development; organizing logistics; and, ensuring effective communication between Clean Chemistry’s and on-site customers’ personnel. 
 

Responsibilities 

  • Adhere to Clean Chemistry and customer safety protocols, adapt and oversee safety policy and best practice implementation at the field level. 

  • Actively promote a culture of safety. Manage JSAs and supporting processes. 

  • Facilitate classroom and field training and support field supervisors and operators. Develop and evolve training programs on Clean Chemistry equipment as well as job safety. 

  • Evaluate operator competency and provide training accordingly for safe and effective customer service. 

  • Plan and assist / supervise mobilization and demobilization of field equipment

  • Upon learning Clean Chemistry’s technology, demonstrate the ability to promote our technology and explain the benefits . 

  • Coordinate with field supervisors, engineering and Clean Chemistry management to ensure efficient field operations. 

  • Manage scheduling of manage field personnel and coordinate vehicle and equipment logistics. 

  • Prepare detailed reports & documents for Customers and Clean Chemistry Management.

  • Travel to remote job locations to ensure quality and productivity. 

  • Represent Clean Chemistry as the premier water treatment solution in the oil & gas industry.

  • Manage the daily operations of the Clean Chemistry equipment yard and maintenance facility

  • Maintain spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory to ensure continuous operations

  • Supply spare parts, tools, and equipment to field units

  • Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and install upgrades to existing field equipment, skids, and trailers

  • Fabricate, assemble and refurbish equipment skids, sub assemblies and trailers

  • Continually develop the inventory, production, and maintenance programs to meet demand

  • Assist in field rig ups, rig downs, and deliveries

  • Assist in remote, multi-day, rig ups, rig downs, and trials

  • Load and unload chemical deliveries

  • Manage, track, and ensure fleet maintenance program

  • Demonstrate and foster a positive, can-do attitude. 

  • Represent Clean Chemistry as the premiere water treatment solution in the oil & gas industry
     

Requirements 

  • High school or equivalent degree required, BS/BA or technical degree preferred.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean MVR. 

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in oil-field equipment operation, preferably water treatment equipment. 

  • Experience supervising a team of field operators.

  • Understanding of field operations and knowledge of water transfer, water treatment, and hydraulic fracturing operations. 

  • Ability to interact professionally with Completions Engineers, Health & Safety Professionals, and Fluids Managers. 

  • Ability to work independently with little daily supervision. 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

  • Proficiency with common computer programs (including, but not limited to: Google office suite, and Microsoft office suite, etc.) 

  • Ability to travel daily to field sites; and, work outdoors safely in all seasons. 

  • Ability to operate Company vehicles in compliance with applicable Company policies.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. 

  • Ability to frequently bend, twist and stand. 

  • Must be willing to wear all required PPE 

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. 

  • Must be willing to participate in random drug screen programs.
