Studio Distribution Services (SDS) is a joint venture between Warner Bros. and Universal Pictures. We are the leading distributor for the entertainment industry, responsible for the Sales, Retail Marketing, and Supply Chain of home entertainment products for both Studios.

We manage a wide range of famous film labels, including Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Legendary Entertainment, Focus Features, HBO, DreamWorks Animation, MGM, Illumination
Entertainment…and also managing distribution for other partners including Paramount, Village Roadshow, BBC, Cartoon Network, Shout! Studios, and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners.

Role Summary:
The Sr. Analyst, Trade Marketing - New Release and Catalog will be responsible for working cross functionally with studios’ Brand Marketing teams, as well as SDS Sales and Retail Marketing teams to ensure all content releasing are communicated effectively to ensure flawless execution at retail. This role requires a meticulous and detail-oriented person with strong organizational skills.


The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000/annually

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Studios’ Brand Marketing teams to ensure that all titles being released are identified and set up in systems timely.
  • Manage the release schedule and oversee the creation and dissemination of selling guides and related materials for New Release and Catalog releases, including New-to-Format and repackaged products.
  • Schedule and manage the delivery of metadata and assets with Studios’, Partners and retail marketing for merchandise opportunities and product set up needs.
  • Gather feedback from key stakeholders to understand opportunities to release content at retail and provide SDS’s recommendation to Studios’ Brand teams.
  • Execute pricing set up for New Release and Catalog content.
  • Monitor the system set-up by studio partners and/or internal counterparts of all new items, to ensure all data is complete, accurate, and flowing correctly through various internal and external/customer systems.
  • Manage the formal communication process for all customer announcements, including New Release and Catalog.
  • Manage ecommerce product pages to ensure execution meets SDS & Studio standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • 2+ years of experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)
  • Knowledge of home entertainment industry with mass retail experience preferred (e.g. Walmart, Amazon, GRUV)
  • Experience in building reporting and creating a story with data
  • Effectively communicate across multiple internal and external functional groups
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams to track and manage timelines to ensure delivery of materials and information required as part of the selling process
  • Detail Orientated, strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word) is essential in this role.
