ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Compiles and publishes parts manuals in accordance with manufacturing production schedule.
- Reviews drawing and bill-of-material changes for impact to publication data; schedules and incorporates changes into manuals.
- Performs graphics work for parts catalogs, operator manuals, service manuals, and similar.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENT
No supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Degree in technical writing, business, engineering/design or related discipline; equivalent combination of training, experience and education.
- Graphic design skills or desktop publishing skills (InDesign, Photoshop, FrameMaker and Illustrator).
- Current hands-on experience using Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, and Word.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering drawings, documents and other technical information.
- 3+ years’ experience or education working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings.
- 1+ year of experience or education using or working with technical publications.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and priorities.
- Solid written communication skills; technical writing, editing and documentation experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Proficient with Documoto online parts catalogs would be ideal but not required.
- Experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals.

The noise level in a shop manufacturing environment or a customer’s production environment can be very loud.
