Job Responsibilities:
• Engaged in promoting and selling the company’s products and services in person. 
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of all aftermarket sales and services
• Recommends changes to current outside sales techniques or procedures based on team performance and new selling techniques. 
• Consult with the Vice President and colleagues for the strategic planning of goals and objectives for aftermarket sales.
• Provide continuous communication with existing customers to understand how the aftermarket organization is performing relative to customer expectations.
• Manage field marketing and promotional projects on the company’s behalf.
• Closely monitor selling price vs. cost related to commodity items to be sensitive to customer.
• Coordinate market analysis and contribute to business strategies, including planned inventory levels and service standards to sustain projected business activity in Premium Oilfield Technologies focused regions.
• Work closely with field service team to best support customers operations
• Frequently visit customers drilling location and understand needs and gaps in customers operation which pertain to GDS sales and service initiatives.
• Domestic and International travel as needed.
• Needs to be available to coordinate after hours and back-up parts and service calls.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
• Participate in Premium Oilfield Safety and Quality programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management


Experience / Education Requirements:
• Requires a High School diploma, associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales. 
• Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures. 
• Excellent people skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel; international and domestic travel may be required at times and with short notice.
