The Sales Commission Finance team is seeking a highly analytical data specialist to join our thoughtful and diverse group of analysts! We positively love working at Adobe, and we know you will too!
This role is responsible for end-to-end commission payment support and analysis and as such will undertake a variety of roles to ensure timely and meticulous completion of the monthly and quarterly payment cycle.
As a Sales Commission Analyst, your role will be to handle the complete commission process for sales team members located globally. This will include commission calculation audits, sending timely data to payroll, responding to commission queries, and a heavy focus on working on team projects that will drive process improvements and analytics reporting for our business partners.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:- Oversee monthly commission calculations and audits across sales teams; provide timely accrual data to accounting
- Maintain and refine models in Excel and PowerBI to improve transparency and efficiency
- Partner with payroll and accounting to ensure accurate monthly payments
- Collaborate with management on projects utilizing Python, PowerBI, and SQL to enhance processes and reporting
- Understand compensation plans for all sales employees, both new and existing
- Work with Sales Ops to understand quotas and results; support plan efficiency analysis
- Ensure accuracy of employee data and compensation details across systems
- Perform monthly performance metric tracking and ad-hoc analysis
- Maintain controls for accurate commission payouts and collaborate with payroll on timely payments
- Resolve commission-related queries and assist in updating systems, processes, and reporting
- BS in Business related field required
- Must be highly proficient with Excel, VBA, Power BI, SQL, and Python
- Must be highly analytical
- 2-3 years of relevant experience expected
- Background of cross functional interaction with internal organizations a plus
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and social skills required
- Quick learner with ability to achieve successful results with limited supervision often under tight deadlines
- Attention to detail, problem solving, judgment, and initiative, critical for success
Pay Range:
$35.00 - $38.00/hour
