The Pharmacist is responsible for administering and advising on appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients and executing a physician’s prescription. This position will also address the patient’s questions as needed.
Part time hours, 1 shifts per week plus PRN (as needed). Office hours are Monday- Friday, 8am- 5:30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.- Timely completion of prescription filling process.
- Performs data verification and product verification functions accurately.
- Ensures all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently and safely.
- Performs troubleshooting functions.
- Follows all procedures to assure accuracy in the prescription filling process.
- Maintains neat and organized environment.
- Accepts prescriptions from doctors and nurses from electronic medical records.
- Operates PDX/EPS.
- Shows patients quality, timely and compassionate service.
- Helps manage pharmacy inventory.
- Maintains all Local, State, Federal laws, and 340B Rules.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid Texas Pharmacist License
