Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Network Technician based in Western Pennsylvania to join our Co-Managed IT team. This onsite role requires working directly at client locations across the region, supporting critical public safety networks. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong technical expertise and a commitment to our core values: Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability, and Prudence.

As a Senior IT Network Technician, you will be a key contributor to managed services engagements, solving complex technical challenges, and mentoring IT team members.

LOCATION

  • Western, PA (Venango, Mercer, Lawrence, and Butler Counties)
  • Other areas as needed

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

  • 50%

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure, install, and manage Windows Server and Active Directory deployments onsite at client locations.
  • Configuration and management of virtual machine environment
  • Diagnose and resolve network performance issues, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Conduct assessments of client networks to improve security, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and maintain network equipment.
  • Create detailed reports and recommendations for clients, presenting findings professionally.
  • Foster strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and solutions.
  • Support scope negotiations and vendor agreements for service delivery.
  • Mentor team members, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

  • Associate degree or equivalent with 3–5 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • 5–10 years of experience with enterprise IT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of network component technologies and Windows-based systems.
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and public safety technology.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Western Pennsylvania to client sites.
  • Ability to pass a CJIS background check and fingerprinting.


PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in public safety/ Public Sector environments a plus
  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)
  • Experience in a client facing roles as a service provided
