Job Title: Sr. Director of Sales

Location: Corporate Headquarters, Harleysville, PA
Type: Full-Time, Executive
The Senior Director of Sales will lead and execute the sales strategy to drive growth, establish key partnerships, and enhance customer satisfaction in the personal care contract manufacturing industry. This executive will oversee the sales department, foster a high-performance culture, and identify new business opportunities to solidify the company’s position as a preferred partner for personal care brands. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the personal care market, strong leadership skills, and a track record of success in contract manufacturing.- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop, execute, and continuously optimize a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with corporate goals and market trends.
- Establish sales targets, performance metrics, and forecasting to ensure achievement of revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement growth strategies, identifying potential markets and revenue streams.
- Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Develop deep relationships with key accounts and stay attuned to shifts in customer demands within the personal care space.
- Leverage industry insights to identify growth opportunities and potential for new product development or diversification.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development initiatives to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.
- Establish a robust sales pipeline management process, ensuring consistent engagement and progression through all sales stages.
- Business Development & Relationship Management
- Identify and secure high-value partnerships with personal care brands, including emerging brands and established industry players.
- Collaborate with product development, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless alignment on client expectations and delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, maintaining long-term relationships to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
- Financial & Performance Management
- Manage the sales budget and analyze financial metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and resource allocation.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, revenue projections, and performance reports to the executive team.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the personal care, beauty, or contract manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B sales environment, preferably with experience in contract manufacturing for personal care products.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the personal care manufacturing landscape, including product development cycles, regulatory requirements, and consumer trends.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse sales team.
