Job Title: Supervisor, Quality Inspection
Location: Various 
Job Summary: The Supervisor, Quality Inspection, is responsible for leading and managing a team of Vehicle Inspectors in Quality Assurance and Vehicle Inspections operations. This role involves overseeing inspections, movement, charging, servicing, and detailing of vehicles to ensure they meet specifications. The Supervisor will foster an inclusive and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous improvement among the inspection team. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle quality. The Supervisor will collaborate with various departments and locations to ensure consistent quality and compliance with industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily operations of the quality inspectors
  • Ensure every vehicle meets top standards.
  • Encourage Vehicle Inspectors to improve daily and foster an inclusive and innovative work environment.
  • Track schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet Quality Assurance and Vehicle Inspections deadlines.
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Automotive Quality, Automotive Logistics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Photography skills and vehicle evaluation in both static and dynamic conditions.
  • High degree of cross-functional cooperation and coordination.
  • Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data analytic tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.
  • Associate’s degree minimum required.
  • Completion of mandatory training required.
  • Minimum of two years in quality assurance in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of damage guidelines and industry repair techniques such as Paintless Dent Removal (PDR).
  • Knowledge of Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) guidelines and Mitchell repair guides.
  • In-depth knowledge of work order repair systems.
  • ASE Certification preferred.
