Your New Job The Position: The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating the Agile development process, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Act as a servant-leader to one or more Agile teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove impediments to the team’s progress to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the team.
Track and report on team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure alignment between team activities and overall business goals.
Support organizational transformation by advocating for Agile principles across departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
Proven expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
Experience in software development, engineering, construction, or telecommunications.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar frameworks.
Understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
