Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Department: Operations
Direct Manager (Title): Head of Operations & Manufacturing
Office Location: Miami, Florida
- Support the implementation of the US ERP system (Priority) into InspireMD
- Coordinate US Supply Chain activities with the Tel Aviv team, ensuring timely shipment and receipt of materials needed for production.
- Work with Sales Operations to develop and implement a robust demand planning processes to forecast product and inventory requirements, ensuring timely procurement.
- Execute supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient flow of materials, products, and information for US operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, and logistics, to align supply chain activities with company goals and customer expectations.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and drive supplier development initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes, identifying areas for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high product quality standards throughout the supply chain.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, incorporating relevant advancements into operational strategies.
Requirements (Relevant Education/ Languages, Skills)- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- Travel up to 25% as required to support supply chain initiatives
- Proven track record of at least 5 years of progressive experience in planning/ supply chain, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Experience in implementing and utilizing ERP systems, preferably Priority.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to medical devices (e.g., FDA, ISO, etc.) and experience working in a regulated environment.
- Proficient in utilizing supply chain systems, tools, and technologies to drive process optimization and data analysis.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve supply chain performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.
