Our Confidential Client is hiring a Full-Time Production Planner in Burlington, VT.
 
As a Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations by creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules. This detail-oriented position focuses on effectively coordinating sales orders through the manufacturing process, addressing unexpected production challenges, and providing accurate scheduling data to internal departments.
 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Works daily with multiple departments to create, plan, establish, and maintain filling/packaging schedules, to maximize operational efficiencies and meet shipping dates according to customer orders.
  • Tracks progress of filling and packaging and coordinates multiple departments to move orders through the operational process.
  • Serves as the primary source for all scheduling questions.
  • Modifies schedules to align with changing business needs as required. Update scheduling reports for multiple departments.
  • Works to continuously refine scheduling tools.
  • Provides visibility to Operations of how we can use workers and resources in the most effective manner.
  • Communicates with Operations to ensure due dates will be met and escalates concerns to VP of Operations as needed.
  • Owns key performance indicators related to scheduling such as Schedule adherence, schedule accuracy, on time, in full, etc.
  • Monitors factors that impact schedule adherence including equipment capacities, bulk, components, and raw material level inventories, customer requests, product quality, etc.
  • Identify problems and help improve processes.
  • Use software to generate reports and schedules.
  • Ensure that company deadlines are met.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic QuickBooks knowledge.
  • 2+ years of planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and respond quickly to production challenges.

Pay Range
$65,000.00   Annually to $75,000.00   Annually
