This is a Full -Time scheduled Monday - Friday 8:30a -5:30p. The pay is $15 - 18 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role is onsite at our center located: 209 W Oak Ridge Rd, Orlando, FL 32809

As the Lead VPK Teacher, you will work to plan and implement engaging developmental activities that prepare children for school. You will guide the curriculum to foster growth in pre-reading, pre-math, language, and social skills. As a role model and mentor, you will create a dynamic classroom environment, develop exciting and educational activities, and support the overall success and development of each child. Your leadership will be key in cultivating a positive and enriching learning experience.
What You’ll Do:• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met
What We Need from You:• High school diploma / GED, or degree in related field of study required
• FL DCF 45 hours required; VPK endorsement and CDA required

• Minimum of 1 -2 years of professional early childhood education or experience
• Must clear a full level II DCF background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
