The START Center for Cancer Research (“START”) is the world’s largest early phase site network, fully dedicated to oncology clinical research. Incredibly, while Academic Medical Centers (AMCs) conduct 80% of cancer trials, such trials reach only 20% of the patient population – leaving the majority of patients who are treated in community practices and hospitals without access to a clinical trial when their care journey calls for one. START serves the many – by bringing cancer trials to physicians and their patients in community hospitals and practices when hope is needed most.

We are hiring a CTMS Financial Analyst
who will be largely responsible for validating these financials in the CTMS. This role will assist in financial validation of all studies built by the Advarra BOS Team in OnCore.

This is a remote role. The annual base salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 + Bonus. However, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. 


Essential Responsibilities
  • Validate START financial budgets in OnCore including independent build of new studies and amendment when necessary.
  • Complete and update CTMS Tracker with budget validation and protocol details.
  • Work with CTMS Calendar Team in order to coordinate efficient validation of budgets after calendar validations are completed.
  • Meet regularly with CTMS Team and CTMS Financial Analyst Manager in order to review progress and study validation inventory.
  • Update and revise OnCore Chargemaster as necessary procedures and START affiliated countries and sites are added.
  • Attend larger OnCore task meetings with Leadership and Study Teams in order to align with CTMS visions and changing landscape.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial or business administration field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar field).
  • Minimum of one year of CTMS experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical research setting (Oncology experience preferred) or equal experience of education and knowledge.
  • Clinical Trial Management System (OnCore specific) experience.
  • MS Office Excel and other MS Office programs.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Coding knowledge (CPT, HCPCS).
  • Three years of CTMS experience, in a healthcare or clinical research setting (Oncology experience) or equal experience of education and knowledge.
  • Three years Clinical Trial Management System (OnCore specific) experience.
  • Experience in Adobe and similar platforms.
