Road Tested Parts is currently searching for an experienced VP of Sales located in either Richmond, VA, Fort Mitchell, KY, or Carnesville, GA. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Sales is a driven and experienced manager who has experience standardizing, scaling, and managing the full sales cycle of a $200 million - $1 billion revenue company. Specifically, this individual will take largely independent sales sites which have not been integrated fully and standardize KPIs, processes, and procedures across RTP.
As the VP of Sales your responsibilities include:
Sales Team Leadership-
- Oversee sales team of approximately 80 individuals managed by individual sales site managers. Sales Site Managers will report into this position
- Roll out standardize KPIs, processes, and procedures across RTP sales organization
- Ensure accountability for all sales managers and their individual sales representatives through standardize KPIs and reporting
- Sales Strategy and Business Development
- Lead RTP sales strategy, including positioning and go-to-market plans.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
- Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- 10+ years as a successful sales leader with experience in consumer products, distribution, or industrial manufacturing
- Strong track record leading high-performing sales teams in high-growth environment.
- Experience developing talent and managing low performers.
- Demonstrated experience implementing a range of commission and incentive plans.
- Experienced in crafting and executing sales strategies.
- Strong communicator and meeting facilitator who can effortlessly articulate Commercial vision and rally internal teams on board
