You will develop long-term, custom partnerships, working closely with key stakeholders and decision-makers across major brands.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a creative approach to partnership development. You’ll need exceptional skills in proposal generation, multi-channel campaign planning, and delivering value to partners.

We’re seeking a candidate who combines a determined "will to win" mindset with a warm, collaborative interpersonal style. You should be able to inspire teams to deliver their best work efficiently and strategically. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure that our partnerships are cohesive, impactful, and contribute to our overall objectives.

You will collaborate closely with the VP of Partnership Development and the SVP of Fundraising and Development. Success in this role demands an ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Collaborate with the SVP of Fundraising and Development to craft strategic, innovative partnership concepts, and compelling follow-up materials (e.g., emails, case studies, slide decks, concept notes). You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to negotiate partnership deliverables that align partner objectives with CRUS's mission, driving both impact and measurable partner outcomes.
  • Expand the Prospect Pipeline:
Strategize and identify key prospects aligned with our organizational campaigns and activations, creating a target list of companies across various industries that support our goals. Lead the intake of campaign briefs for major events and key fundraising moments, developing targeted prospecting strategies to meet revenue objectives. Stay attuned to cultural, business, and industry trends, collaborating with the broader Fundraising and Development team to assess partnership outcomes and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities:
Actively participate in weekly strategy sessions, brainstorming meetings, and prospecting discussions with the SVP, CEO, and other key stakeholders to refine and advance our partnership strategies. Identify, seek out and cultivate new growth opportunities, including emerging platforms and opportunistic collaborations that drive revenue and expand our reach to priority  audiences.
ABOUT YOU

  • You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in partnership development, fundraising, or business development, with a background in media, entertainment, or nonprofit sectors.
  • A proven leader, you excel at building trust and fostering open communication, both within teams and with external partners. You're skilled at facilitating constructive feedback and motivating teams toward shared success.
  • You have a strong history of developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver social impact while meeting partnership objectives.
  • Thriving in deadline-driven environments, you’re a proactive self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, matrixed team structure.
  • Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills allow you to clearly and persuasively convey complex ideas.
  • Passionate about social change, you are energized by working for an organization that transforms lives.
