Certified Medical Assistant | Temp-to-Hire | Full Time (8am-5pm M-F) | $20-$22/hour | Philadelphia, PA
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a gynecology practice based in Philadelphia. This is a great opportunity to join an established healthcare organization and build a rewarding career!
A day in the life of a CMA at this practice:- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups, ensuring efficiency in workflow.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure timely documentation of patient encounters.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are properly stocked and sanitized.
- Room patients and assist physicians and nurse practitioners with gynecological exams, procedures (e.g., Pap smears, colposcopies, biopsies, IUD insertions/removals), and minor in-office surgeries.
Requirements of a CMA at this practice:- Completion of an Accredited Medical Assistant’s program and Medical Assistant Certification required
- 2-3 years of proven experience in a healthcare setting
- OBGYN specialty experience preferred
- CPR Certification is required
- EMR (EPIC) experience preferred
