This role will be working out of our: Materials Department services division in Tempe, AZ.

This Opportunity: 

Certerra is looking for a motivated individual to fill an open full-time Dispatch /Administrative position for our Materials Testing Department in our Tempe office.

Job Duties:

  • ·        Coordinate, schedule and dispatch Technicians to perform testing and inspecting soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc. throughout the Phoenix, AZ area.
  • ·        Assisting project management
  • ·        Coordinating department resources
  • ·        Customer interaction
  • ·        Other administrative functions as needed
  • ·        The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills through company provided training and mentoring.

 Requirements:

  • ·        Previous administrative experience required
  • ·        This is a fast-paced position which requires multitasking, use of the phone, email and text communication with client representatives, contractors, project managers and technicians and others as applicable regarding the services to be provided.
  • ·        Strong organization and planning skills
  • ·        Professional attitude
  • ·        Capable of working independently
  • ·        Excellent oral and writing skills
  • ·        Proficient with Excel, Outlook, MS Word, Office, Google Maps
  • ·        Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • ·        Ability to pass a drug screen

Preferred

  • ·        Previous Construction Industry Experience
  • ·        Previous dispatch experience
  • ·        Previous administrative experience required

Physical Demands

  • Physical examination required to obtain medical clearance to work
  • Ability to stoop, kneel and to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Clean driving record and capable of being insured for driving company vehicles
  • Able to work in variable outside conditions, including extreme heat or cold if need
