We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role is key in financial planning, reporting, and strategy, supporting business growth and decision-making. The Controller will collaborate with senior leadership, manage financial systems, and drive process improvements.
A day in the life of a Controller- Oversee accounting, tax, and financial reporting functions.
- Provide strategic financial insights to leadership.
- Ensure timely monthly closings, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain cash flow projections.
- Strengthen financial systems to support growth.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist with acquisitions and corporate development initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with leadership experience preferred.
- CPA, CMA or master’s degree in accounting is required
- Experience with multi-state taxes, audits, and preparing financial statements is required
- Strong GAAP knowledge and experience in both service and product-based industries.
- Prior experience in private equity and M&A preferred.
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MemberSuite, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
