ABOUT THE POSITION
Primary responsibility for corporate income tax compliance and SEC reporting
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Prepare and review corporate federal and state tax returns.- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740) and tax-related SEC disclosures.
- Research and analyze tax law changes, identifying their impact on the company.
- Work closely with tax manager and external auditors to support SEC reporting requirements.
- Assist with IRS and state audits, preparing necessary documentation and responses.
- Support tax planning initiatives to improve compliance and optimize the company’s tax position.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation using OneSource and other tax tools.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:- 3+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
- Experience with SEC reporting, ASC 740, and corporate tax compliance.
- Bachelor’s or master’s in accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- Proficiency in OneSource or similar corporate tax compliance software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
