Connexure is hiring a Business Operations Analyst Intern in Atlanta, Georgia.
Summer (Paid) Internship Opportunity (Full-Time Hours)
The Business Operations Analyst role is an entry level position with the primary responsibility of supporting the growth of Connexure, build and execute on our strategic vision, and provide ad-hoc support to operational initiatives. Undertaking data collection from multiple sources to generate relevant information for analysis and implementing streamlined processes for greater operational efficiency. This is a strategy role with a well-respected private equity sponsor that is an alternative to working with a large management consultancy.
Connexure, formerly known as Young Consulting was founded by David Young in 1995. Connexure started developing software for insurance carriers to help them better manage their books of business. Today, Connexure is a software company focused on servicing the entire self-funded medical benefits ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:• Brainstorm strategies for growth and improvement
• Conduct analyses to support strategic direction with data
• Execute on strategic vision by taking ownership of key initiatives
• Craft executive team, board of directors, and change management communications
• Collect data and analyze client information
• Work collaboratively with managers and other teammates to collect data, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, and of high quality
• Audit data results and report findings to leadership
• Prepare standard and ad hoc reports
• Support various operational initiatives to streamline business functions
• Create process documentation around current and future processes
• Support vendor analyses and tool comparisons for ad-hoc improvements
• Facilitate sales process via pitch decks and proposal packages
• Gather new reporting requirements from business users and coordinate development / deployment with system administrators
Job Qualifications:- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Power Point and Excel
- Energetic, strong individual contributor driven by outcomes rather than inputs
- High level of motivation – can work effectively with minimal oversight
- Team player with appetite to take on new projects
- Attitude of humility and continuous improvement
- Excellent communicator in both written and verbal mediums
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
- Willing to learn data sources, processes, formulas, and output
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to travel at least 10%
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
