ABOUT THE POSITION
The Oracle Business Analyst – R2R (Record to Receipt) is a critical role in supporting our global Oracle Cloud ERP solution. The position will work closely with other R2R team members, the solutions architect and business stakeholders in ensuring that there is a proper design and well executed support for the R2R business functions. R2R covers the financial modules like Payables, Receivables, General Accounting, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.
Key Deliverables- Understand Oracle R2R modules and ensure configuration documentation is up to date
- Write design specs for reports and other system solutions
- Write process flows and instructions
- Write and execute test plans
- Enter Change Tickets
- Write training materials
- Solve production support tickets
Key Activities & Responsibilities- Test and document the Oracle System and related processes
- Interpret business requirements and help the business prioritize
- Author functional specification documents
- Coordinate activities with other team members and the business
- Collaborate on cross-functional activities
- Enter and manage Oracle service requests
- Provide 24 x 7 support during production cutover and go-live events
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:- A BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field or equivalent and/or combination of training and experience as deemed sufficient by management.
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or production support analyst
- 3+ years of Oracle Cloud Fusion experience specifically with Payables, Receivables, General Accounting, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.
- Extensive experience building Analysis and BI Publisher reports
- Extensive experience in FBDI and ADFdi loads related to your areas of expertise
- Must understand accounting. Accounting background/experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Prior experience in Oracle EBS is a plus
- Has experience developing and executing test plans.
- Flexible and adaptable in prioritizing workloads, coping with pressures, deadlines, and rapidly changing situations.
- Strong communication skills including presentation skills.
- Creative thinker, results-oriented, analytical mindset, and a focused problem-solver.
Supervisor and Leadership Expectations
