The Project Manager:
Pay Grade: $ 39.26-62.81- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s strategic priorities and operational objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Track project performance, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet project goals.
- Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and outcomes to the COO and senior leadership.
- Facilitate meetings, ensuring clear communication, effective decision-making, and documented action items.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in project management.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are related and appropriate to the position and area. The above responsibilities are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all-inclusive.
- Promotes adherence to the Health Sciences Compliance Program, the Howard University Code of Ethics and the Health Sciences Standards of Conduct.
- Attends annual and periodic mandatory Compliance Program training including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy training.
- Participates in activities that promote adherence to federal healthcare program requirements.

- Adheres to the requirements of the HIPAA Privacy Policies and Procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
Five (5+) or more years of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred.
