This is a full-time position scheduled Monday – Friday, ideally 8:30a – 5:30p shifts during centers operational hours. The pay is $15 -18 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 1815 W. Washington St. Orlando, FL 32805

The Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive classroom, coordinates the curriculum by use of “Learning Beyond Paper”, and manages the day-to-day operational activities students in care. The Preschool Teacher should possess high energy and be able to work well with staff, students, and parents. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with and in an energetic environment and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children aged 3 years old.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local requirements while ensuring all Center policies and state regulations are met
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
What We Need from You:
• Minimum of 1 -3 years of professional early childhood education preferred
• High School Diploma and/or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
• FL DCF 45 Hours required with CDA Highly preferred

• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Must clear a full level II DCF background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants and resolve parental concerns
• Demonstrate empathy and patience in difficult situations while being Cheerful, enthusiastic, and engaging in the workplace
