RN – Emergency Department

Location: Washington, D.C.

An exceptional Emergency Department RN is fast-thinking, calm under pressure, and skilled at managing a wide range of urgent medical situations. This individual is:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for emergency patients including triage and stabilization.
• Administer medications and perform emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with the care team and document care in EHR.
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• ASN or BSN; DC RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 2+ years emergency or critical care experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

The position may involve extended periods of standing or sitting, the use of standard office or clinical equipment, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and potential local travel. Work settings may vary from office-based to hospital or community environments depending on the role.
