Manages I&E engineering work products (in-house and third-party engineering consultants), as well as contract I&E construction and inspection services for Momentum construction projects including processing, treating, fractionation plants, gathering pipelines, compressor stations and measurement equipment/facilities.

Manages/Supervises Company Automation Technicians concerning commissioning, operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Company assets including processing, treating, fractionation plants, gathering pipelines, compressor stations and measurement equipment.

Provides detailed I&E cost estimates to Company Project Managers, facilitating the development of thorough and accurate capital project AFE’s.

Controls expenditures and maximizes efficiency in all areas of responsibility. Monitors automation project and maintenance costs, as well as projected commitments; approves invoices, work orders and contract payments.

Resolves I&E construction and O&M problems by developing, implementing, and expediting corrective solutions, measures, and procedures.

Participates in the development of the annual O&M budget, including detailed cost projections for I&E specific line items. Proactively manages the automation portion of the budget.

Provides technical support concerning development of automation equipment/material and construction specifications, as well as contractor and supplier quotation requests; evaluates contractor and supplier bids and makes recommendations for award.

Acts as Momentum’s representative with respect to project coordination with electric power suppliers and utilities, concerning construction projects, as well as Company’s operating facilities/assets.

Ensure instrumentation and electrical equipment meets all applicable codes and regulations.

Adheres to the guidelines and processes described in Momentum’s Project Execution Handbook.

Maintain and update, as necessary, Company’s instrumentation, construction, and installation detail specifications.

Assure all I&E engineered work products are filed and maintained electronically in Company document control filing system.

Complies with federal, state, and local rules, regulations, permit requirements, policies, and procedures regarding safety, health and environmental protection.

Complete annual employee performance appraisals for direct reports. Meet with the employee(s) to review and discuss the appraisal.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, including the ability to recognize situations in which confidentiality is required.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, co-workers, executive management, Momentum joint venture partners, federal agencies, the public, and others.
