Location: Washington, DC
Join our dedicated cardiac care team where you'll make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day. As our Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you'll empower patients on their journey to recovery, helping them regain strength, confidence, and heart health after cardiac events.
Our ideal candidate will utilize their clinical expertise to develop, implement, and manage individualized care plans for patients recovering from cardiac events, including heart attacks, surgeries, and other cardiac conditions. Working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll provide comprehensive support, education, and guidance to patients and their families. Your expertise will directly contribute to promoting cardiovascular health and improving patient outcomes in a rewarding, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac responses during exercise sessions, ensuring safety and optimal progress
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique recovery journey
- Provide compassionate education on heart health, medication management, and sustainable lifestyle changes
- Respond confidently to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when needed
- Collaborate with cardiologists, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals
- Track and document patient progress, adjusting rehabilitation plans to maximize recovery outcomes
Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Certification in Cardiac Rehabilitation preferred
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and strongly preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Experience in cardiac care, critical care, or related nursing specialty preferred

- $43.16 Hourly to $64.74 Hourly
