GAM (Global Appropriateness Measures)
Lead Fullstack Engineer - Java, React & AWS
About Us
GAM is a consortium of physicians dedicated to advancing patient outcomes through data-driven insights and innovative metrics rooted in clinical expertise. We are the gold standard in healthcare appropriateness measurement, and our primary focus is on measuring clinical waste - a priority area for health systems, health plans, self-funded employers, and data analytics companies.
We’re a fast-moving, high-growth company helping people navigate healthcare smarter - saving money, avoiding unnecessary care, and getting better outcomes. We partner with employers and other industry leaders to help their teams make better healthcare decisions.
If you’re looking to join a mission-driven team where you can make an impact, learn and grow quickly - you’re in the right place.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Lead Java Fullstack Engineer to help drive the development of our cloud-based healthcare intelligence platform. In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with the CTO and cross-functional teams to build scalable, user-centric applications that support client onboarding, data visualization, and real-time insights.
This role blends front-end finesse with back-end architecture and infrastructure leadership. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the direction of our technology stack, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for users—from initial onboarding through long-term platform engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, is passionate about product quality, and brings strong communication skills to a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
This role will work remotely with some travel. Priority will be given to candidates who live in Austin or Nashville.
