Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated Senior Project Control Specialist to contribute to our mission supporting our work at American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, OH.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project cost and schedule baselines, coordinating/leading regular project status updates for project reporting, along with mentoring/coaching project personnel on cost and schedule control.  By effectively managing these areas, you will ensure projects stay on track, within budget, and meet their objectives.
  • High level of proficiency with Primavera P6
  • Cobra or similar experience
  • EVMS experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software applications, including Windows, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint, and the ability to integrate applications
  • Knowledge of or experience with project controls practices and principles, including work breakdown structure development, duration management, schedule logic and dependencies, critical path analysis, change control, cost engineering, estimating, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), status reporting, and what-if analysis
  • Ability to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities
  • Should understand basic accounting principles
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, cost planning, and financial management software
  • Q clearance preferred; however, reinstatable Q clearance could be sufficient. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5-8 Years of Direct Experience or equivalent combination in lieu of education. 


 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
  • 5-8 years of direct scheduling experience. 
  • Proficiency with Primavera scheduling software
  • Working knowledge in Cobra or similar cost processor 
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Working knowledge of cost engineering/cost control
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Duration of the Contract: 6-9 months

Onsite or Remote? 100% Onsite.
