Growth Orthopedics is Hiring a Vice President of Physical Therapy (Full-Time, Executive Leadership Role)

Position Summary

We are looking for a strategic, growth-oriented Vice President of Physical Therapy to oversee the clinical, operational, and financial performance of our outpatient rehabilitation division. This executive role will lead multi-site teams across the Growth Orthopedics network, with full P&L responsibility, oversight of business development initiatives and clinical growth, and a mandate to scale our physical therapy footprint through innovation, quality care, and operational discipline.

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare leader with a strong background in outpatient rehab operations, team leadership, and scalable business strategy. You will report directly to the COO of Growth Orthopedics and collaborate closely with executive, physician, and clinic leadership.

Core Responsibilities

• Executive Oversight of Multi-Site Rehab Operations
  Lead, develop, and support clinical directors and staff across multiple physical therapy locations.
• P&L Ownership & Operational Management
  Manage the business performance of the rehab division, including revenue growth, expense control, and profitability optimization.
• Strategic Expansion & Business Development
  Identify and execute growth opportunities, including new site development, service line expansion, and strategic partnerships.
• Talent & Culture Leadership
  Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing clinical and operational leaders. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
• Physician & Stakeholder Collaboration
  Partner with orthopedic surgeons and practice leaders to align physical therapy services with overall care strategy and patient outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Clinical Quality
  Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain a focus on evidence-based, high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with an active, unencumbered license
• 7+ years of experience in outpatient rehab, with at least 3-5 years in multi-site leadership or executive-level management.
• Demonstrated success in P&L ownership, operational turnarounds, or growth initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and best practices in outpatient rehab operations.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Growth Orthopedics’ locations. 2-3 times per month expected.
