Position Overview: 
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team at our Mount Pleasant, Texas facility. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and basic facility maintenance to support smooth warehouse and operations flow. The role involves inspecting and preparing shipments, operating equipment safely, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring accurate inventory handling and documentation.

Job Summary:
The Shipping & Inventory Clerk is responsible for pulling and processing orders for shipment along with maintain inventory.

Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The duties listed below are representative of the essential functions, qualifications, physical demands, and the work environment encountered in this position. •    Inspect, package, label, and prepare shipments with proper documentation.
•    Receive and store materials; help manage inventory.
•    Check that products are in the correct bin locations.
•    Pull and verify correct quantities for orders.
•    Work at different stations as needed; keep shipping supplies stocked.
•    Perform tasks like lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting.
•    Report damaged or questionable materials to supervisors.
•    Keep work area clean and follow safety rules.
•    Safely operate forklifts and other shipping equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

•    Ability to comprehend simple written and verbal instructions and procedures.
•    Strong sense of organization and urgency.
•    Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
•    Possesses basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
•    Maintain the production pace of other team members.
•    Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.

Education and Experience:
•    High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
•    6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
•    Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
•    Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred


Physical Demands:
•    Regularly stands, walks, talks, and listens.
•    Often climbs, balances, sits, reaches, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
•    Uses hands to handle tools and equipment.
•    Works near moving machines and feels vibration.
•    Frequently works outdoors in hot or cold weather.
•    Noise level is usually loud.


Physical Abilities:
•    Can coordinate multiple limbs at once (arms and legs).
•    Can time movements with moving objects.
•    Can lift, push, pull, or carry heavy items.
•    Frequently lifts 10–25 lbs; regularly lifts up to 50 lbs.
•    Needs good vision: near, far, color, side, depth, and focus.
