Position Summary

The Retail System Administrator is a dynamic mid-level technical role that drives success by supporting, configuring, and enhancing the retail originations system. This influential position involves configuring rules and workflows, supporting partner integrations, and efficiently resolving production issues. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in system administration paired with a comprehensive understanding of auto finance originations processes. This role directly impacts the efficiency and success of auto-finance operations, offering an opportunity to make a significant contribution in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with both the Retail and Project Sprint Teams to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the retail originations system, including its configurable features, workflows, and integration capabilities.
• Independently manage and execute configuration changes, updates, reviews, and production support tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of change requests and system documentation while conducting code reviews and system enhancements to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business processes.
• Support quality assurance efforts by reviewing test scenarios, identifying gaps, and providing technical insights during testing cycles.
• Develop and maintain business processes that ensure system compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Build and support custom system integrations, including the development of JavaScript formulas and logic to meet advanced business needs.
• Act as a technical liaison in the absence of the Senior System Administrator, ensuring continuity of support and communication.
• Provide tier-2 support to internal and external users by analyzing and resolving moderately complex system issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication through effective collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Credit/Funding in the auto finance lending industry.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Systems Configurations Analyst, or similar role, in the auto finance lending industry.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in documenting business processes and system configurations.
• Intermediate experience with JIRA or similar tools.
• Ability to create calculations and logic within a loan origination system.
• Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills.
• Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.
• Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.

Qualifications Preferred

• Bachelor's or 4-year college degree in business/information technology is highly preferred!
• Experience as a credit or funding Team Lead in the Auto finance lending industry is a plus!
• Basic understanding of API protocols and interface techniques is a plus.
