Are you a board-certified psychiatrist interested in expanding your expertise into forensic psychiatry? We are seeking contract psychiatrists to perform forensic evaluations for an established behavioral health organization with a strong national footprint. Whether you're experienced in the forensic field or looking to break into this specialty, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Contract Psychiatrist – Forensic Evaluations
Location: Austin, Houston, or Dallas, TX (Telehealth with limited in-person as needed)
Compensation: Highly Competitive Contract Rate
Schedule: Flexible | Independent Contractor

Position Highlights:

• Conduct forensic psychiatric evaluations, including fitness for duty, competency, and other court-ordered assessments
• Most evaluations conducted via secure telehealth; occasional in-person assessments may be required
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• Administrative support provided  
• High compensation rates per evaluation

Requirements:

• MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry
• Eligible to practice in Texas with an active and unrestricted medical license
• Must be able to pass FBI fingerprint background check
• Interest or experience in forensic psychiatry (training provided)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and documentation standards
