We are a private equity-backed business headquartered in Nashville, TN. As we continue to scale, we’re seeking our first full-time Director of Sales to help drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and support our aggressive commercial strategy. This individual will play a critical role in creating and executing the sales plan, identifying new opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and collaborating closely with operations, IT, and finance to support scalable, profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who desires to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting. The Director of Sales will report to the President.
As the Director of Sales you will:
- Develop an effective sales plan to achieve new customer bookings and revenue targets
- Own the entire sales cycle including identifying new prospects, sourcing leads, presenting company pitches, negotiating terms, and driving deals to signed contracts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship building
- Learn, maintain, and consistently expand knowledge and understanding of company’s products, services, and value proposition
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, finance) to align on customer needs, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies
- Stay informed on market trends, customer behavior, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
- Attend relevant conferences to expand network and learn industry trends
- Track and communicate sales activity through the Company’s CRM and provide regular pipeline updates to leadership
- Contribute feedback to improve pricing strategy, value proposition, and customer experience
To be successful in the role you must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth or PE-backed environment
- Home health or hospice experience is preferred
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to travel nationally as needed
