As a Formulation Chemist, you’ll contribute to the innovation and optimization of personal care, oral care, and OTC drug products by developing new formulations, executing experiments, and ensuring product stability and performance.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Pay
- Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $85,000.00
- Bonus: Exempt employees are eligible for a bonus in accordance with Accupac’s Bonus Plan

What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and support commercialization of new formulas for personal care, oral care, and OTC drug products
- Identify suitable raw materials and technologies for formulation development
- Compound experimental batches and conduct formulation testing and stability studies
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot minor instrumentation issues
- Record and analyze lab data, maintain accurate notebooks, and use company software
- Refine formulations to meet customer specifications and resolve stability issues
- Support lab organization, inventory management, and raw material tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support customer-facing communications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related science
- 2+ years of progressive laboratory experience (including internships, co-ops, or college research); formulation experience in cosmetics, personal care, or OTC is a plus
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and formulation techniques
- Strong ability to design experiments, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and document work in compliance with standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general lab systems
- Must meet physical requirements: lift/carry up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and possess color vision
