Senior Rules Developer - Contract to Permanent
Position based within 50 miles of one of our hub cities: Atlanta, Dallas Ft. Worth, Detroit, Houston, or Phoenix AZ with hybrid work options available.
You Will:
- Leverage your expertise in FICO's Decision Modeler/Blaze Advisor to drive efficient decision-making processes across the organization. Your diverse responsibilities will include writing rules, organizing decision strategies, enhancing automated testing approaches, optimizing AWS utilization, and guiding DevOps teams on production deployment best practices.
- Collaborate with lending business experts and technical teams to design, implement, and maintain innovative originations decisioning capabilities that meet current needs while positioning us for future growth.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our FICO Decision Modeler implementation, including configurable features for business processes, product rules, pricing strategies, policy enforcement, partner integrations, and system workflow capabilities.
- Clearly distinguish between configurable elements and those requiring vendor customization or support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with FICO's Decision Modeler/Blaze Advisor
- 5+ years of experience in credit or financial technology
- Strong collaborative skills for effective cross-functional partnership with business and engineering teams during architectural planning and prioritization
- Exceptional ability to understand diverse team needs, drive clarity in decision-making, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Demonstrated passion and capacity for solving complex problems
- Talent for delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience with Agile methodologies and processes

- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours as business needs require and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
