Part-Time Community Outreach Associate – Beaumont/Orange/Port Arthur
2025-2026 School Year (August - May)Outreach Associates conduct our Girl Experience Outreach Inspire Me and Empower Me programs during the school day. Staff will present contemporary issues curriculum for girls in elementary, and middle school in Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, and the surrounding area.
Qualifications:- Dependable, enthusiastic, and energetic
- Competent in making presentations to large groups of girls in a variety of school settings
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange and other surrounding areas
- Transport supplies to and from the Girl Scout office as needed (some moderately heavy lifting required)
- Must be available two to four days a week. Hours and days vary between 7:30AM to 5:00PM Monday-Thursday
- Ability to work as a team player with other Girl Scout staff
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass background check including BISD and surrounding school districts
- Prior experience working/volunteering with youth preferred
- Prior Girl Scout experience helpful, but not required
- Bilingual – Spanish speaking applicants preferred, but not required
