Location: Remote, In-person meetings, as needed

Organization: Women of Reform Judaism

Employment Type: Full Time, Benefits Eligible, Exempt, MNGT

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: $60,000 plus competitive benefits package

 

  • Work with Board members/lay leaders on committees to develop and facilitate programs and events in areas such as leadership skills, advocacy and social justice, Jewish holidays, spirituality, social, Israel education, and more.
  • Collaborate with other portfolio areas (social justice, philanthropy, etc.) to help schedule and provide additional support for their programs/webinars.
  • Manage virtual programs and webinars using Zoom (including scheduling, staffing programs, moving according to timelines, answering any questions, building run-of-show to manage and/or share with facilitators, and providing tech support and infrastructure as needed).
  • Create and evaluate post-program surveys to utilize feedback in future programming.
  • Work alongside Marketing and Communications to utilize numerous communications tools for program and event promotion including social media, WRJ website calendar, the internal Mighty Networks, event apps, etc.  
  • Create and maintain organizational program calendar and create upcoming program slides for all virtual meetings.
  • Facilitate awards programs, including conference scholarships, program/micro- grants, and programming awards requiring an application and selection process. Oversee each committee’s operations, partnering with relevant lay leader(s) to: schedule meeting dates, prepare agendas, post files, track follow-up items; partner with WRJ staff to promote and support the programs’ execution.
  • Collaborate with Director of Events & Leadership and Chairs to run the annual Board Onboarding (L’Atid) program for first-year Board members, including: select program dates, compile agendas/runs of show and slides, create and share Zoom registration links, track participants’ attendance, manage their online Mighty Networks group, do periodic 1-1 check-in meetings members, and create and evaluate program survey and results.
  • Serve as registrar to develop and manage event and program registration systems, including record updating/editing, report building and running, and customer assistance/troubleshooting.
  • Additional projects as needed and assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit event and/or program planning
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with databases, building event registrations and creating blast emails.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote team environment
