Location: Remote, In-person meetings, as needed

Start Date: September 2025
Salary: $60,000 plus competitive benefits package
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Board members/lay leaders on committees to develop fundraising campaigns and plan events in areas such as Board, Board Alumni, Donor Stewardship, Planned Giving, YES Fund Allocations and YES Fund Grants Management.
- Identify and solicit annual donors with gifts up to $2,500.
- Provide content and logistical support for annual campaigns, WRJ’s YES Fund (philanthropy), and special fundraising initiatives.
- Assist in executing donor stewardship plans, including sending birthday and milestone messages, preparing stewardship mailings, and supporting recognition initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Communications department on development communications and graphics
- Manage the annual YES Fund grant application cycle including scheduling all meetings, tracking grant requirements, and establishing relationships with grantees.
- Prepare semi-annual pledge statements and support year-end audit reconciliation.
- Help coordinate virtual and in-person donor events, including WRJ YES Fund receptions at national and local levels.
- Generate routine development reports and assist with donor data analysis.
- Manage the production of YES Fund status reports and annual honor roll certificates.
- Additional projects as needed and assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with donor databases (CRM experience preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote team environment.
- Strong alignment with WRJ’s mission, values, and commitment to social justice and gender equity.
- Familiarity with Jewish community and Reform Judaism a plus.
