We’re searching for a skilled Hydrovac Truck Operator in Winchester, IN, to play a vital role in our sewer rehabilitation projects and will be responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation processes. If you’re an experienced operator who values safety, precision, and teamwork, this is your opportunity to dig deep and build a better future!
The starting pay is $20.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain the hydro excavation vac truck to safely and proficiently locate and identify underground utilities
- Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects, including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging
- Supervise activities of Hydrovac laborers to ensure employee skill development
- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation
- Learn Culy's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and use of equipment
- Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and subordinates
- Complete all required paperwork properly and within set timelines
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance
What We Need
- Class A or B CDL license required, with Tanker Endorsement
- Experience operating heavy equipment and machines (such as Hydrovac Trucks) proficiently and safely
- Experience working in an outdoor construction environment
- Mechanically inclined is a plus, as you may be required to work on the Vac Trucks in the field
- OSHA certifications are a plus
- Ability to work overtime
- Valid/clean driver’s license
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn Culy's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use
