POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you a hands-on leader who thrives at the crossroads of precision, innovation, and team development? As our Fabrication Manager, you’ll drive the heartbeat of production — overseeing operations in Fabrication, AutoCAD, Paint, and Electrical. Your mission: ensure projects run like clockwork, teams are aligned and empowered, materials flow smoothly, and every piece leaves the floor with excellence. This is more than management — it’s leading a team to transform designs into reality, with quality and safety at the core.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-
Lead, mentor, and energize a cross-functional team — from AutoCAD drafters to electrical techs — to hit production targets with pride.
-
Be the quality gatekeeper: audit drawings and fabricated work for accuracy before moving forward in production.
-
Apply your knowledge of UL standards and electrical integration to ensure our signage meets the highest safety and design expectations.
-
Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales to align fabrication timelines, labor allocation, and budgets — especially on high-profile custom jobs.
-
Optimize material usage and drive cost-saving initiatives with real-time analysis and reporting.
-
Stage materials and orchestrate workflow to eliminate bottlenecks and keep production running seamlessly.
-
Keep the floor safe, organized, and inspection-ready — meeting OSHA standards and championing a culture of safety and efficiency.
-
Continuously improve: Evaluate processes, equipment, and layout for performance boosts, quality gains, and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU BRING:
-
Strong background in custom metal fabrication and industrial equipment
-
Fluent in blueprint/spec interpretation and AutoCAD rendering review
-
Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail and quality
-
Knowledge of electrical systems integration for digital signage
-
Strong time management and leadership under pressure
-
Experience balancing labor, materials, and budget demands
-
Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental compliance standards
-
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
THE TEAM YOU'LL LEAD:
Direct supervision of Fabrication personnel across multiple functions. You’ll also work closely with HR to recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team — managing progress reviews, resolving conflicts, and reinforcing company culture and policies.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This role requires occasional travel, flexibility with hours, and a willingness to get hands-on when deadlines are tight. Expect a dynamic environment where your decisions shape both the product and the people behind it.
