POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
· Incorporate conventional risk management practices and a variety of complex features such as complicated risk analyses.
· Perform development work and coordinate various risk management activities with personnel from other organizations to complete the task.
· Ensure compliance with technical requirements of assigned work.
· Ensure appropriate technical performance of the end product is developed.
· Support other senior professionals in the development, analyses, maintenance, and reporting of risk.
· Organize and accept responsibility for the accuracy of limited risk evaluation results using standard techniques and procedures.
· Plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
· Incorporate conventional risk management practices into risk problem solving and develop alternate solutions to problems.
· Communicates results and objectives verbally and in manuscript form to customers, colleagues, and
management.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Risk Management, Business Management, Liberal Arts, Science, or Engineering and 7 years of experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Provide expert support of the Safran Risk software.
· Support the development of the Integrated Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (ICSRA) for the project(s),
· Provide scheduler support of the Primavera scheduling software,
· Serve as Risk Manager responsible for overseeing the risk management process and risk related activities in compliance with Site procedures,
· Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and manage risks for the projects up to Secret Restricted Data,
· Interface with Project Directors, deputies, project managers and others to identify, quantify andmanage threats, opportunities and issues,
· Coordinate with various SRNS departments (e.g. Project Controls) on the management ofidentified risks,
· Prepare and lead various team risk meetings,
· Provide guidance and leading various risk management meetings in compliance with the RiskManagement Plan,
· Develop and manage risk reporting for the project(s) including the monthly reports, quarterlyreports, and ad hoc reports when requested,
· Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
· Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening,
· Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience on DOE sites and programs,
· Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
LOCATION
· Aiken, SC -Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidate's expense,
· 4/10 schedule – 6:00am to 4:30pm,
· Length of contract – One year base with two renewal year options.
