Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Department: Operations
Direct Manager: Sr. Supply Chain Manager
Office Location: Miami, FL, USA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and inventory released medical devices and components.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handling of sensitive or sterile medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions using ERP or warehouse management systems for Miami warehouse.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Perform inventory management activities for all physical inventory that resides in the Miami warehouse, including but not limited to inventory counts and audits for finished goods, final packaging supplies, etc.
- Report discrepancies, damage, or quality issues to the appropriate leadership.
- Liaise with the operations team (e.g., Supply Chain Manager, Production Manager) to ensure complete documentation to support inbound and outbound flow of product.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform in compliance with all RA&QA, Supply Chain SOPs and work instructions on all activities in relation to the material acceptance, packaging of final product as well as re-packaging activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant shipping/receiving area and follow all required safety protocols.
Requirements (Relevant Education/ Languages, Skills)
- Minimum 1- 2 years of experience as a warehouse operator in shipping and receiving in a regulated industry.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc)
Preferred Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree or higher; additional logistics or supply chain training is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical device handling, packaging, and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and GMP regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory software or experience with ERP systems preferred.
