A top client is hiring a Manager of Digital Strategy to lead their digital marketing performance across paid channels. This remote role (working on Pacific Time hours) reports to the VP of Marketing and is ideal for a digital media expert who thrives in data, lives in dashboards, and has the technical chops to manage and optimize media campaigns hands-on. You’ll be the go-to leader for driving paid media strategy, execution, and insight—ensuring every dollar delivers measurable value.
As the Manager of Digital Strategy, you are responsible for:
Digital Media Strategy & Execution
- Own the planning, tactical execution, and optimization of all paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Build full-funnel paid strategies to support patient acquisition, brand awareness, and local clinic growth initiatives.
- Actively manage day-to-day platform activity including campaign structure, bidding, budgeting, creative rotation, audience segmentation, and A/B testing.
Hands-On Media Buying & Optimization
- Personally execute media buys across platforms; no outsourcing—this is a hands-on role as much as a strategic one.
- Monitor campaign performance daily, proactively identifying and resolving underperforming elements.
- Test creative and messaging variations to continually improve conversion rates and reduce cost per acquisition (CPA).
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Local SEO
- Oversee technical SEO, content strategy, and on-site optimization to improve organic visibility and traffic across location pages and service lines.
- Own local SEO strategy to drive patient growth at the clinic level—optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP), location pages, reviews, directories, and NAP consistency.
- Collaborate with content, web, and design teams to implement SEO best practices and ensure alignment across all digital assets.
Analytics, Reporting & Dashboard Leadership
- Design and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards using tools like Google Looker Studio, GA4, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Build reporting infrastructure that tracks key metrics across channels (impressions, clicks, conversions, CAC, ROAS, and CPA).
- Deliver clear, insight-driven performance reports and recommendations to the VP of Marketing and executive team on a regular cadence.
- Lead end-to-end measurement strategy: attribution modeling, UTMs, conversion tracking, and pixel/tag management.
Budget & ROI Management
- Manage six- to seven-figure paid media budgets with a focus on efficiency and measurable business outcomes.
- Make ongoing budget allocation decisions based on performance trends and business priorities.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to forecast spend and campaign impact in support of company goals.
Innovation & Cross-Functional Support
- Serve as the in-house paid media subject matter expert—guiding campaign timing, messaging strategy, and channel recommendations.
- Support clinic expansion and brand initiatives with localized paid strategies and rapid deployment campaigns.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, new tools, and emerging channels to drive innovation and sustained performance growth.
To be successful in the role you must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or related field.
- 8+ years of digital marketing experience with a focus on paid media strategy and execution.
- Deep expertise in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog) and local SEO platforms (e.g., Yext, BrightLocal, Google Business Profile Manager).
- Proven ability to personally manage and optimize campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, and other major platforms.
- Google Ads certification required; Meta Blueprint or similar certifications preferred.
- Strong command of marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Looker Studio, and campaign tracking/tagging frameworks.
- Experience building custom dashboards and developing reporting structures for multi-channel campaigns.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in multi-location healthcare a plus.
- Passion for purpose-driven work and improving access to pediatric care.
- Must reside in Pacific Standard Time Zone (PST)
