As a Quality Lab Supervisor, you’ll lead and support a team of analytical chemists to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality testing that meets customer and regulatory expectations. Your expertise will be vital in managing lab operations, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay
    • Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $85,000
    • Bonus: Exempt employees are eligible for a bonus in accordance with Accupac’s Bonus Plan

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise daily operations of the Quality analytical lab and ensure alignment with production schedules
  • Manage, train, and support laboratory staff while ensuring compliance with GMP procedures and customer requirements
  • Review and approve analytical data, chromatographic results, and related documentation
  • Troubleshoot instruments, test methods, and materials; implement new test methods and specifications
  • Communicate status updates and urgent issues across departments and lab shifts
  • Lead investigations for Out-Of-Specification results and support CAPA efforts
  • Coordinate installation, qualification, and validation of new instrumentation
  • Support cost control initiatives, lab productivity improvements, and technical problem-solving in manufacturing
  • Maintain cGMP compliance in calibrations, standards, and documentation
  • Review and approve LIMS configurations, SOPs, and Material Assay Reports

 

What We’re Looking For:

·       Education & Experience:

o   Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field (required)

o   Advanced degree in Analytical Chemistry (preferred)

o   Minimum 5 years of senior chemist, team leader, or management experience in pharmaceutical or contract manufacturing environments

·       Technical Skills:

o   Strong knowledge of GMP pharmaceutical testing, USP methodologies, and instrumentation (HPLC, GC)

o   Experience with lab systems, data review, and method implementation

·       Leadership & Communication:

o   Proven ability to lead teams, manage shifting priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally

o   Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
