Your Role
As a Dental Anesthesiologist, you will provide anesthesia services for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients requiring sedation or general anesthesia for dental and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop anesthesia care plans tailored to their medical and dental needs.

Administer general anesthesia, deep sedation, and moderate sedation in compliance with ADA and ASA guidelines.

Monitor patient vitals and ensure safe recovery post-procedure.

Collaborate closely with the dental team to optimize efficiency and patient safety.

Manage medical emergencies with confidence and skill.

Maintain accurate and complete anesthesia records.
Qualifications
Required
-
U.S.-trained Dental Anesthesiologist with DDS/DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school.

Completion of an accredited dental anesthesiology residency program.

Current (or eligible) Virginia dental license and anesthesia permit.

Board certification or board eligibility in Dental Anesthesiology.

Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
Preferred

Experience in pediatric dental anesthesia.

Familiarity with special needs patient care.

Comfort working in both clinic and surgical settings.
