Summary Of Primary Functions
This position provides administrative support within the Hills Machinery Company Sales Department. This person interacts with branch personnel and others as required within the sales process including quoting, invoicing, and marketing of wholegood sales. Duties of this position may change as deemed necessary by Management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned)
· Assists in preparing and/or reviewing cost sheets and quotations for Sales Team
· Reviews sales orders & required documentation of wholegood sales prior to invoice closure
· Maintain standardized customer files
· Regular review and documentation of multiple manufacturer’s list pricing
· Maintain lost sales report
· Lead management data entry and documentation of opportunity updates
· Territory mapping
· Monitor and document National Account deliveries
· Create and update corporate forms
· Create and update product brochures
· Create and execute targeted email campaigns through use of CRM
· Networking Association coordination including annual dues deadlines & calendarization of events
· Maintain coop fund parameters – programs, preapprovals & balances
· Maintain Internal Merchandise store max/min quantities, orders & shipment
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Customer Service experience
- Organization & Communication skills must be highly developed
- Billing experience
- Tag/Title experience preferred, not required
- Computer skills need to be broad based and proficient
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools a must (especially Outlook & Excel)
