BIM Specialist
Lawrence Group is a building design, development, and project delivery firm headquartered in St. Louis with offices in Austin, Florida and New York. With 170+ employees, Lawrence Group offers architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, furniture procurement, and graphic design services to a wide variety of clients, including housing, hospitality, healthcare, academic, and retail.
Lawrence Group is seeking a BIM Specialist. This individual will be an integral part of the design team and will collaborate with Project Managers, Project Architects, and Interior Designers to accurately setup and update Revit models for the project team. Primary focus is on Revit setups, template updates, and modeling.

The key responsibilities include:
- Set up and produce 3D models and 2D deliverables in Revit
- Collaborate and coordinate internally and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes.
- Aid the project team in updates, model changes, and QA/QC
- Ensure drafting and modeling aligns with standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
- Work with the Lawrence Group BIM Manager to develop and manage modeling and deliverable standards.
- Provide technical helpdesk/support assistance to staff relating to design software.
- Provide training relating to design software including mentoring, in‐house software procedure training, and new design production staff orientation.
- Assist in maintaining Revit templates, family library, details and content management system
- Assist with QA/QC by reviewing projects for compliance with company and/or project BIM standards and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Revit and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with Outlook and FTP software such as AutoDesk BIM 360
- Readily willing to learn new skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize multiple tasks
- Work well individually and in a team environment
- Complete work in efficient and accurate manner
- Maintain positive attitude and good peer relations
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on project requirements.
- Working knowledge of design and construction industry workflows and priorities.
- REVIT, AutoCAD, and BIM360 knowledge required.
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary, multi geography design practice preferred.
- Experience with BIM execution plans, levels of design, BIM contract documents, and BIM kickoff meetings preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment with hybrid schedule capability. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This position requires no minimum ability to lift, bend or stand.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary.
Travel
Minimal to no travel is expected for this position.
Reporting Relationship:
This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
