Want to be part of our growing team of dental professionals that are improving dental health for individuals across Oregon?  Arrow Dental Clinic is currently seeking a Part Time Administrative Assistant in our Milwaukie, Oregon clinic. This position will provide internal administrative assistance to the team. This role will also provide administrative support necessary to meet department's goals and objectives. We are currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assitant to work 2-4 days per week.  

Arrow Dental is an Oregon-based dental care organization that offers routine care, restorative therapy and other specialty services to Medicaid and private insurance members throughout the state of Oregon.

Clinic hours Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm


Pay Range: $21.80 to $26.92 per hour (depending on experience), Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range. 



Required Skills & Credentials:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support function.
  3. Typing ability of 30 wpm net.
  4. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Working knowledge of insurance field, desired.
  6. Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  7. Strong organizational and detail orientation skills.
  8. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  9. Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
  10. Ability to come into work on time and on a daily basis.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.


Primary Functions:

  1. Provide department support functions for the Outreach team, including collecting outreach forms and entering data into dental software.
  2. Running various reports for data gathering to send to management team.
  3. Call Outreach patients with emergent needs and follow up care.
  4. Coordinate with various offices to establish care for a patient.
  5. Update forms as requested by management.
  6. Complete surveys as required to meet OHP guidelines.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
